At Diviido, we want your watch to remain reliable, functional, and stylish for many years to come. The following instructions cover basic care and maintenance practices for watches of all types, to keep them in the best possible condition.
Cleaning a watch
For proper cleaning:
- Use a clean, dry and soft cloth.
- Avoid fabrics that contain dust, grains of sand, or other particles that may cause scratches.
- Do not use chemical cleaners, alcohols or cleaning fluids.
General care & protection
- Avoid contact with perfumes, creams, cosmetics and cleaning products, as they may alter materials and finishes.
- Do not leave the watch in places with high humidity, such as a bathroom during a shower.
- Limit exposure to the sun for long hours to protect colors and materials.
- Keep the watch away from hard or rough surfaces that can cause damage.
- It is not recommended to use the watch during intense exercise or while sleeping to avoid shocks.
CHANGE of roll
Most watches have an easy-to-use mechanism that allows you to change the strap in a matter of seconds.
- The process is simple and does not require special tools.
- Swap straps and create different styles for every occasion.
HOW TO ADJUST THE SIZE OF THE MESH STRAP ON YOUR WATCH
The mesh straps are designed to fit any wrist easily, without the need for special tools. Follow the steps below to adjust the size quickly and securely.
Place the watch on a stable, flat and soft surface to avoid scratches.
Make sure the buckle mechanism is clean and functional.
The buckle of the mesh straps has a small internal “tab”.
Using a thin object (e.g. a small screwdriver, fingernail or watch tool), gently lift the buckle cover upwards until it opens.
Do not apply excessive force, as this may damage the mechanism.
Once the buckle is open, slide it along the strap:
- towards the frame for a smaller size
- to the opposite side for a larger size
Align the position of the buckle with the micro-webs of the strap so that it “clicks” correctly.
Press the buckle cover down again until you hear or feel the click.
Check that it is fully locked before wearing the watch.
- Wear the watch and make sure it fits comfortably.
- The mesh strap should fit securely, without slipping.
- If necessary, repeat the steps for fine adjustments.
DIVIIDO ADVICE
Avoid exposing the mesh strap to water, sweat and chemical products to maintain its shine and prevent discoloration.

How do you adjust the size of your watch strap link?
We highly recommend visiting a local jeweler who will adjust the fit of the detachable strap to your wrist and safely remove any links without damaging the product. Please note that you may be charged for this service and Diviido does not cover these charges.
All watches sold on Diviido with link straps come in their box with extra replacement links. If you would like to order more, please contact the Diviido Service Team.
IS MY WATCH WATER RESISTANT?
All watches are water resistant to 3ATM, 5ATM or 10ATM. This means that the watch is protected against small splashes of water.
Watches with 3ATM water resistance cannot be worn while showering, bathing, swimming or diving.
Watches with 5ATM water resistance can be worn during cold or lukewarm showers.
Watches with 10ATM water resistance can be worn for both swimming and diving.
All watches should not be exposed to warm or hot water, nor to chemicals such as perfumes, cosmetics and cleaning products. Please note that all watches can be affected by water vapor and condensation caused by warm environments or conditions; therefore, they should be kept away from heat and hot water.
Automatic watches are mechanical marvels that combine precision and craftsmanship, powered by the movement of your wrist. Proper care and maintenance ensures that your watch will remain accurate and functional for many years.
By following the instructions below, you can maintain the beauty and smooth operation of your automatic watch.
By wearing your watch regularly, you help the mechanism to run smoothly. The natural movement of your wrist winds the mainspring and keeps the watch running.
If you do not wear it daily, the watch will stop after about 40-41 hours. It is recommended to manually wind it by turning the crown about 15-25 times until it starts to work automatically before setting the time.
Pull the crown out to the first position to set the time. It is best to only turn the crown clockwise to avoid straining the mechanism.
Avoid contact with strong magnetic fields, such as hair dryers or induction hobs, as they can temporarily affect the accuracy of the watch. Prolonged exposure may cause magnetization of the movement, requiring early service.
Avoid strenuous activities, such as sports, riding a motorcycle, construction work, or using power tools, to avoid damaging the mechanism.
Periodic servicing is recommended every 3-5 years. Take your watch to an authorized service center for proper maintenance and use of genuine spare parts.
HOW TO SET THE TIME AND DATE OF A CHRONO WATCH
- Pull the crown out to the middle position to set the date. Turn it clockwise until the correct date appears.
- To set the time, pull the crown out to the farthest position and turn it clockwise until the time is correct.
- After completing the adjustment, push the crown back into its original position to lock the mechanism.
If you need more help, consult your watch's manual for detailed instructions.
